So this is my first attempt at a blog! Yes I have been dragged kicking and screaming into the 'techy' age and am now bashing away on my keyboard (sounds a tad rude.)
I am aiming to cover several things in my blog and am hoping that I can learn how to separate each topic by way of a button at the top of the blog. I think that's just given away how incompetent I am at this but I'll try my best.
A little about moi - well I am early 40s, no children and no life! Well that's how the media makes me feel ... I had a career (yes, past tense til the lovely recession blew the Public Sector spending) and now I am sat here wondering how to keep my brain from ceasing all trading completely.
The topics I'd like to cover are things that I find interesting or relevant to my life. So...depression is a big one (hence the name of the blog) and I'll try and put what I found difficult that day and how I have tried to blow away the fog.
Cosmetics and nails - I am a product junkie, a lover of lotions and potions but only really interested in ones that I think or find work for me. I know we are all different and that some people are a brand follower which is all well and good but if it doesn't work for me then it doesn't work.
My latest hobbies - I am currently looking into jewellery making as I just love anything that sparkles. I am currently 'blinging' up my mother's mobile phone cover as we both love anything that has bling.
I am sure I was a magpie in a previous life!
Comping - now this is the name for one of my hobbies - enter competitions! If you are thinking of Mary off 'Corrie Street' then think again as I sit entering comps on my laptop daily. Thinking up catch phrases etc. just isn't appealing to me but I'll tell you what I have won and how.
Money saving tips - I am on a quest to save money and this includes using coupons (only for items I would normally purchase so saves my printer ink) which survey sites are worth doing, water harvesting and general tips including my current favourite of using white vinegar!
My Books - now this is a funny one as I am setting myself a challenge to write a book to put on Kindle! Yes if I set myself a challenge then that means I have something to get out of bed for... besides letting my dog out.
